An Argentinian native, Gisela moved to the United States over 25 years ago, and has called it home ever since. She spent many years in California (and a few other states) before settling in Athens in 2020. But Argentinian born and California bred have not stopped her from claiming Athens as her forever home. Married to a native Athenian, her heart and home are here to stay.
Fluent in Spanish and English, Gisela graduated from University in Argentina where she studied primary education (whereby she honed her skills of negotiation-haha), and she draws on the skills she mastered daily while navigating the sometimes savage real estate market. She grew up watching soccer, but just like how Athens claimed her heart, UGA football has done likewise. It only took one game for her to fall in love with those DAWGS.
An avid investor, Gisela is exceedingly well versed in assisting clients with second homes, investment properties and vacation homes. With experience on both the GA Coast (specifically the St Simons area) and the North GA Mountains, she is an ideal choice to help clients with secondary home purchases. Gisela also has experience managing Short Term Rentals (ie-AirBnb or VRBO). She can recognize pitfalls with a potential property (ie-restrictive covenants and local ordinances) so you go into the transaction fully informed. She will also recognize assets that might make a property more attractive to a potential short term tenant. Gisela speaks from experience in terms of estimating potential earnings to help you off set expenses when the property is not in use as well.
In her downtime Gisela likes to be outside working in the garden, by the pool, or getting together with family and friends. She can also be seen making homemade empanadas, enjoying a night out on the town or at a concert at the Georgia theater.
